Ukanyi Luxury Villa is an exclusive-use private bush villa offering comfort and luxury to families and friends.
At Ukanyi Luxury Villa you will enjoy a unique experience on the banks of the Mbesi riverbed, against the foot of the dramatic and famous Drakensberg mountains in the Blue Canyon Private Game Reserve. Our great location is also on the doorstep of the Kruger National Park.
Our villa derives its name from the very old Marula tree, that have stood firm in the beauty of the African nature, and is part of the territory where the Big Five roam daily.
In the shades of this beautiful Marula tree, from the deck you can enjoy the wildlife passing by while your private butler and chef is preparing for an unforgettable gastronomic experience.

Our stay was lovely. The bedding and towels were very clean. And every day there was someone looking after us. What a great experience to stay at Ukanyi Luxury Villa. Our highlights were definitely the amazing villa, the interior and the open spaces were absolutely perfect for this bush. For my wife the Safari was the best. We saw the whole big five in just a few days and the guide told us a lot about the African bush. We will for sure be back very soon to experience more of the amazing African food and to have more african sunsets. For me I can’t wait to be back to sit around a bush fire. The Ukanyi luxury Villa is a more than one excellent save place to stay in the Moditlo Wildlife Estate. The villa has a marvelous design with natural colours and a lot of space in/outside. We loved their service, the food, the stoep, the swimming pool, the braai, the extra shower outside and so much more! But especially we were impressed by the Big 5 just around us. We saw them all! Lions, elephants, buffaloes, rhinos and leopards!! That close, believe me. Better and more to see than at Kruger. The environment invites us to come more often and to stay longer. Hoedspruit has his own international airport. We travelled through Africa for many years, but we will definitely come back here!

Ukanyi lodge was beyond our expectations. We will be back! This trip was a once in a lifetime experience! Camp Ukanyi staff is the premier experience of the diverse wildlife while having all your comfort needs cared for in the most warm and professional manner. We felt really 'looked after' thank you Ukanyi and your dear warm people... we couldn't ask for a better stay! Africa at its best and wildlife at your front door. Can't think of anything we would change!
